Meet The Team in Bay St. Louis

Sarah Hornby, PMHNP

As a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, my goal is to walk alongside you in your journey toward feeling better and living fully. I don’t believe in using medication to take away emotions or leave you feeling numb. Instead, I see medication as a tool to bring balance—just enough support so you can truly process what you’re feeling and work through life’s challenges with clarity.

I hope to be able to make the patient experience be one that maez you feel like you are moving forward.

I take the time to listen and understand your unique story, because I believe treatment should always be personal and collaborative. Together, we’ll find the right plan that helps you feel like yourself again—not just getting by, but genuinely thriving.

Chris Pickreign, LPC

Through my 10 years of experience working in community mental health, I have had the opportunity to support individuals and families from many different backgrounds, life experiences, and challenges. This work has taught me the importance of meeting each person where they are, listening with compassion, and creating a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel seen, heard, and supported. My approach is rooted in a strength-based and cognitive framework, helping clients recognize their inner resilience while also exploring how thoughts, emotions, and behaviors are connected.

I specialize in working with trauma, anxiety, and panic disorder, and I strive to help clients identify and challenge negative thinking patterns that may contribute to fear, self-doubt, or feeling overwhelmed. Through practical coping skills, emotional support, and evidence-based interventions, my goal is to help individuals move toward healing, stability, and personal growth. I am a Trust-Based Relational Intervention Practitioner and am also trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, allowing me to provide trauma-informed care that supports emotional regulation, relationship-building, and the processing of difficult life experiences.
